The hatch tent is a 3 walled tent that attaches with your selected method to the back of your SUV or hatchback car. This allows for greater airflow, less bugs, and no condensation when you wake up. 

We offer 2 methods of attachment, screw in snaps and an adhesive backed snap for those who don't want to modify their car permanently. With the snaps installed its a quick and easy process to take the tent on and off. With the door open you don't even need to remove the tent to use it as normal.

Right now we are working on the summer/spring version designed for mild to warm weather. We have plans to make a waterproof version that can be used in the rain or snow. It won't be insulated so we recommend the same sleeping set up as if you were winter camping.

Currently the Hatchback tent is the only product we are working on but we have a ton of stuff planned for the dirtbags who can't afford a sprinter or van. 

Yes ! It would be the same or warmer as camping in a 4 season tent. We encourage looking into heated blankets or diesel heater options as well for those who run cold. 

We did extensive testing by slamming multiple fabrics in the trunk of the car to simulate incorrect use and found a fabric that will last long and not tear.
